Laurent Deis is a New York-based, dual-qualified (U.S. / France) corporate attorney and the founding member of Deis LLC, which also operates as the New York office of LMBE (“LMBE NY”), a full service law firm based in Paris.
Laurent represents domestic and international companies at various stages of their development, as well as individuals on specific legal issues (Corporate, regulatory and mediation).
Prior to founding LMBE NY, Laurent worked as an associate at Debevoise & Plimpton LLP (Paris office) and at Stroock & Stroock & Lavan LLP (New York office) as a corporate and finance attorney,
Laurent graduated from the University of Paris II Panthéon-Assas with a Ph.D. in corporate law, magna cum laude. In addition, he holds two master’s degrees in business and tax law from New York University School of Law.
Admitted to the New York State Bar, Laurent is a member of the New York City Bar Association and the American Bar Association. Furthermore, Laurent is a member of the European Affairs Committee of the New York City Bar Association.
Laurent is fluent in English and French.
